5th International Young Diplomat School.

The Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies is pleased to announce the 5th International Young Diplomat School (IYDS) which will be held in Islamabad from 14-16 March 2023. This follows the successful 4th edition of IYDS that took place from 16-18 August 2022 in Islamabad. The participants of the 4th edition were a diverse group of young professionals, students, and faculty members from across Pakistan. During the school, the participants were given the opportunity to interact with ambassadors and representatives from 11 countries. They were hosted at the embassies and had the chance to attend information sessions with ambassadors, diplomats, and other embassy staff. The participants received valuable insights into the missions, countries, and opportunities for education, development, and trade from the ambassadors and diplomats.

IYDS is a unique initiative of the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies and was established to reflect the growing significance of diplomacy in a rapidly changing, globalized world where innovation and new technologies play a vital role.
