5,336 Tableeghi activists allowed to return home.

LAHORE -- The Punjab home department's Corona Crisis Management Cell's (CCMC) daily situation report generated around Saturday midnight states some 5,336 Tableeghi activists have so far tested negative and allowed to return to their homes.

It says 1,560 who tested positive have been quarantined while the results of 4,250 are awaited.

According to the overall situation in Punjab, the CCMC says of the 33,062 suspects screened, 3,648 tested positive, 41 patients died and 423 recovered.

With regard to operation of camp sites for BISP (Kifalat Programme), the CCMC identified various issues at camp sites that include shortage of cash, thumb impression issue, poor connectivity and lack of equipment.

It noted that already paid beneficiaries getting messages again to collect money, while some people who received messages from 8171 could not get payments due to non-registration of their data.
