41 Larkana villagers tested in suspected Covid-19 outbreak.

LARKANA -- A team of doctors led by Director, Health Services, Larkana Region, Dr. Rustom Bhutto, visited Rais Bhambho Khan Chandio village in Kambar-Shahdadkot district and obtained 41 samples for COVID-19 PCR testing after reports that six people have died of the dreaded coronavirus in the village.

The team which also included District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Iqbal Jagirani and others found that five persons including a woman had died in the same village which included 70 year old Haji Fateh Mughmmad who had been unwell since the past one week and 70 year old Haji Babu who was paralysed and was on bed ridden since the past two years. Others included 70 year old Sain Rakhio who was suffering from chronic liver disease and COPD, Muhammad Paryal and Zohra Chandio. She was residing at Shaikh Zayed Colony, Larkana and remained admitted at the ICU of the Chandka Medical College Hospital but she was buried in her native village Bhambho Khan Chandio.
