Rawalpindi -- Despite taking the preventive measures for the elimination of dengue, the situation is worst in the district Rawalpindi.
In the last nine months, as many as 317 dengue cases had been detected, 235 cases reported in Holy Family Hospital and 50 cases registered in Benazir Bhutto Hospital, while 29 in District Headquarter Hospital Rawalpindi.According to statistics, from 2372 patients, virus was detected in 317 patients, 271 discharged after giving them medical aid, while in 419 patients no dengue virus was detected.
