3 alleged facilitators of Lakki suicide bombing arrested.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN -- The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested three suspects on charges of involvement in the suicide attack on a polio vaccination team in Lakki Marwat. Police said three facilitators of the suicide bomber have been identified. According to police one facilitator is Jamshed, resident of Serai Naurang, while two other facilitators, Khalil and Hafeezullah belong to North Waziristan. The CTD has arrested the suspects from Dera Ismail Khan. A suicide bomber came to Lakki Marwat on the intention of targeting a polio vaccination team on December 19. However, the bomber exploded himself at a distance from the vaccination team mistakenly and the vaccinators remained safe. Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat Jehangir Azam said the bomber exploded at a distance of three kilometres from the vaccination team. The campaign was halted briefly after the blast, but latter it was resumed after security clearance.
