25 new seed varieties approved.

LAHORE -- The Punjab Seed Council approved 25 new seed varieties on Thursday.

The approved varieties included 10 of cumulative seeds, nine of olive oil and one of BT cotton, namely FH-444.

Agriculture Minister Malik Nauman Langrial, who chaired the meeting, congratulated the scientists on the preparation of new varieties. He said under Prime Minister's Agricultural Emergency Programme, work on developing new varieties of seed would continue.
