According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 4 (24%) Pakistanis claim that as compared to last year, their household spending on Eid-ul-Fitr had increased this year.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, "As compared to last year's Eid-ul-Fitr (2019), did your household spending increase, decrease or remained the same on Eid this year?"
