20 reports of standing committees presented in Senate.

ISLAMABAD -- The Upper House of Parliament (Senate) on Tuesday witnessed presentation of 13 reports of Standing Committees on as many legislative proposals and seven other committees' reports on various parliamentary interventions referred to them.

The reports were presented on the 13 legislative proposals including the Export-Import Bank of Pakistan Bill, 2022; the Publication of Laws of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill, 2022; the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 2022; the Anti-Rape (Investigation and Trial) (Amendment) Bill, 2022; the Islamabad Capital Territory Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Bill, 2022; the Capital Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2022; the Islamabad Capital Territory Prohibition on Employment of Children (Amendment) Bill, 2022; the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 2022; the Criminal Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2022; the Pakistan Global Institute Bill, 2022; the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oath and Fees) (Amendment) Bill, 2022 and two identical bills namely the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2022.

Three reports of various standing committees on as many starred questions were also presented in the House which were regarding the shifting of Department of Libraries to Sector H-9 Islamabad; number of children below ten years of age in Pakistan suffering from anemia...
