According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, Since April, nearly 7 million more adults now report they have started to look for ways to earn additional money to cover their household's basic needs.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, "In the past 7 days, did you 'Look for ways to earn additional money (e.g. work more hours, do an occasional job etc.)' to cover your household's basic needs?"
