According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 12% mobile phone users in Pakistan admit to using their phone in the bathroom.

A representative sample of men and women mobile owners from across the four provinces was asked, "Do you use your mobile phone in the bathroom?" In response, 12% said yes while 88% said no.
