12 healthcare facilities sealed in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD -- The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) inspected 53 healthcare establishments during the past two weeks and sealed 12 of them for different violations.

Health facilities, which were sealed, included Decent Clinic, Khan Clinic, Waqas Dental Clinic, Noor General Hospital, Smile Dental Clinic, Iqra Clinic, Raziq Medical Lab, Life Care Pharmacy and Clinic, Waheed Clinic, Ali Dental Care Clinic, Medicare Diagnostics (Dental Clinic) and others.

They were sealed due to different malpractices like keeping expired and illegal medicines, lack of proper waste management system, absence of qualified staff, lack of proper waste management system and not getting registered with IHRA.
