100th student of IBMS defended her M.Phil thesis at DUHS.

KARACHI -- Vice Chancellor of Dow University of Health Sciences, Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy said that The Institute of Biomedical Sciences has prepared 100 MPhil students in a short span of 9 years who are using their skills abroad and at various institutions to contribute to national development. Research and innovation is also needed in the postgraduate program of Biomedical Sciences, he said while addressing as special guest at the event which was organized by the students of the institute at the completion of 100 MPhil theses. The event was addressed by the Director of IBMS Prof. Dr. Zeba Haque, and Deputy Director Mr. Mohammad Owais while a large number of students teachers Prof. Nasir Bhatti, Prof. Mazhar, Prof. Zia-ul-Islam and Prof. Muzaffar were present on the occasion. Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy said that the recent success is an important milestone towards the Institute of Biomedical Sciences' destination; hopefully the Institute is achieving its founding goals.
