10 injured in crossfire in Toba.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- Ten people were injured seriously on Tuesday in a crossfire between two rival groups in Chak 318 -JB near Janiwala railway station.

Reports said a child was raped and his father gave an application to Saddar police for a case over which suspect group's men attacked the complainant group and as a result of crossfire occurred leaving 10 people injured.

The injured people were identified as Muhammad Fiaz, 45, Muhammad Anwar, 48, Muhammad Ismael, 40, Nasir Ali, 22, Shehzad Akbar, 22, Arif Moosa, 23, Hameed Zahid, 20, Asif Ali, 40, George Mashih, 45, and Liaqat, 60.

All the injured were shifted to the DHQ Hospital where the condition of three of them was stated to be critical.

District police spokesperson Attaullah said five of the accused people had been arrested.
