10 booked for attacking police.
KASUR -- The B-Division police lodged a criminal case against 10 people, including six nominated, for attacking a police team, injuring an ASI and letting a proclaimed offender flee from police custody in Jamatpura locality on Tuesday.
The proclaimed offender was wanted in a triple murder case of a senior lawyer, his nephew and his driver over an old score registered in August last.
According to the police, following a tip off that Nasrullah was hiding at the outhouse of Ahmed Hassan in Jamatpura locality (in close vicinity to the police station), a police party raided the place.
Police arrested Nasrullah and headed towards the police station to detain him in the lock-up.
