ISLAMABAD -- The capital police have devised a security plan for Christmas in the federal capital.
The police said over 1,000 personnel would perform security duties in different parts of the capital.
According to a press release, on the directions of DIG (operations) Waqaruddin Syed, all the four zonal superintendents of police (SPs) will monitor their respective areas to ensure security in and around churches.
The police have also issued a separate security order for all the churches besides deploying additional personnel to keep an eye on suspects.
As per the security plan, police teams will patrol in their respective areas.The respective SPs will be patrolling to ensure peace in the capital. Volunteers along with women police personnel will also be deployed outside churches.
Additional security personnel will be deployed at all public places to keep an eye on the suspects.
