05 New COVID-19 positive cases reports in AJK.

MIRPUR (AJK) -- After registration of five new cases of novel corona virus during last 24 hours in Azad Jammu Kashmir, the number of confirmed corona-virus cases registered positive rose to 219 in the State on Wednesday day, AJK Health Services Deptt. has said.

At the same time, the blood samples of 122 suspects were tested on Wednesday.

In a statement on the updated situation of pandemic in AJK, the State Health Services authorities confirmed registration of five new cases in AJK all belonging to capital district of Muzaffarabad.

A total of five casualties have been reported in entire Azad Jammu Kashmir because of the Corona Virus so far. These included four from Muzaffarabad district and only one from Mirpur district.

According to the Health Authorities a total of 5501 suspected cases were sent for test, of whom the result of 5441 had been received with 219 positive cases.

Out of the total of 219 corona virus positive cases, 99 have been fully recovered and discharged from the different health facilities across the state by Wednesday, they added.
