YDA demands compensation package for deceased family.

KARACHI -- Young Doctors Association (YDA) on Tuesday demanded the compensation package for the family of Dr Qadir Nawaz Jakhrani.

Representatives of YDA Sindh expressed such views while addressing the press conference here.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice President (VP) YDA Waris Jakhrani told that Dr Qadir Nawaz Jakhrani was working at COVID-19 ward, Civil Hospital Kashmore, Sindh. Despite of performing day and night duty at ward, he could not get six month salaries. He approached repeatedly treasury officers and other related officials for immediate release his salaries, Vice President said, blaming that treasury officers were demanding bribe/kickback for immediate release of his salaries which the victim could not pay. He unfortunately could not sustain the stress and committed suicide.
