Women workers announce big rally in Karachi.

KARACHI -- Strongly MA results condemning a hatred based propaganda against women, leaders of women, workers, political, social organizations and civil society announced here on Thursday to stage a big rally of women worker in the megacity, Karachi, on March 08, to celebrate the international women's day. Addressing a crowded press conference here at the Karachi Press Crated Club (KPC), they said the day of March 8 is being celebrated in whole world historically to pay homage to the heroic struggle of women workers. Women in whole world on this day raise voice for their equal social and economic rights and gender justice.

They said it is sad that reactionary and undemocratic forces, who are afraid of awareness of women and already have started a hatred-based evil propaganda against women. These elements do not want to see progress and empowerment of women in society. Recently, these elements have started threatening to stop the women's day program with use of force. Moreover, in some districts administration is also refusing to give permissions to women marches on pretext of corona virus. They said in every democratic society it is a right of citizens to express their views and talk about their problems in a peaceful manner.
