Woman officer feels proud to lead FC in Swat.

MINGORA -- The first-ever female district officer of Frontier Constabulary, Hina Munawar, has said that she is proud to be the first woman to lead one of the bravest forces of the country.

She pledged to lead the force for the better service of the country.

She said that she was confident to work for the public safety and would perform her responsibilities without any hindrance.

Ms Munawar, who belongs to Faisalabad in Punjab province, joined police as a PSP officer after passing CSS examination. Presently, she has been posted in Swat as assistant district officer of FC.

'The police group seemed the best and attractive to me and I am thankful to God that I managed to join it after qualifying CSS,' she told Dawn.

She said that FC like other security forces rendered great sacrifices and played vital role in restoration of peace in Swat. 'I believe that FC is highly trained force with high morale and spirit,' she added.

Ms Munawar said that women were capable to join any job including maintaining law and order in the country.
