Webinar to Celebrate World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies in collaboration with Global Dialogue Foundation organized a Webinar on " World day for cultural diversity for dialogue and development" on 21st may 2020. The webinar was arranged in order to celebrate the international day that was declared by the United Nations to promote unity in diversity, peace and harmony and dialogue among civilizations, cultures and groups all kinds of background.

Ms. Farhat Asif, Founder President, Institute of Peace and Diplomatic, in her welcome remarks highlighted the importance of the day and shared about the vision and mission of the institute. She has also highlighted the importance of Pakistan in promoting peace and harmony in the region.

Mr -Peter (Pece) Gorgievski, Chairman and CEO Global Dialogue Foundation , explained about the aims and objectives of Dialogue Foundation and shared that there is a strong need for further collaboration among diverse cultures and there is not only unity in diversity but also there is beauty in diversity too He further said that there are several initiatives by the Foundation that are ongoing and the organization would like to further contribute in building peaceful world.

Ms Iliana Scmatelka,. Deputy DG Global Dialogue Foundation was speaking from Germany and shared about the significant role that civil society needs to play and there is a strong need to move forward the message of unity in diversity . Mike Handcock, Chairman - Circle of Excellent / Conscious Leadership Movement, said that connectivity will help us to understand better especially in the kind of challenge of COVID-19, there is an opportunity in the crisis...
