Wapda to pay one-month extra salary to workers.
LAHORE -- The Water and Power Development Aughority (WAPDA) has sanctioned one-month pay for its employees on the demand of the All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union CBA in recognition of their services for the nation during the lockdown.
The authority has decided to award honorarium equal to one month basic pay to all Wapda employees on the eve of Eid ul Fitar. This decision has been taken by WAPDA authority in a bilateral meeting held with the representatives of the All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union CBA today at WAPDA House, Lahore in the presence of Lt. General (R) Muzammil Hussain Chairman Wapda.
