Villagers block highway after two brothers 'kidnapped'.

SUKKUR -- A large number of angry villagers took to the streets of their area near Ghouspur town of Kandhkot-Kashmore district on Wednesday and held a sit-in in the middle of the nearby section of Indus Highway in protest against alleged kidnapping of two brothers early in the morning.

The highway remained blocked for more than five hours before the area police succeeded in persuading them to clear the road on the assurance that the missing persons would be recovered within the next three days.

The protesters told the police that the two brothers - Arbelo and Babu, belonging to the Dahani clan and watchmen by profession - were sleeping outside the house of their employer in Abdul Rasool Dahani village when they went missing. They said...
