Usman Buzdar is there to stay Parvez Elahi.

LAHORE -- Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi Monday said that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will complete his five-year term.

'He is there to stay and not going anywhere', he said while talking to different representative delegations at his residence here.

Reacting to the rumors about a possible no-confidence motion against the chief minister, Parvez Elahi said that there was neither any such move in the past nor was it on the cards at the moment.

He said an atmosphere of complete trust existed between Punjab CM Usman Buzdar and the PML-Q leadership. 'Whenever there were rumors about his change, we said he is not going anywhere. There is no room for such baseless assumptions. The PM has complete confidence in him', he maintained.

The Punjab Assembly speaker also appreciated the federal government's 'Ehsaas Programme' saying it was the best programme for the poor. 'It is because deserving people are being helped and unemployed youth are getting respectable employment opportunities through this programme which can reduce poverty. Ehsaas Programme is the need of the time in the prosperity of Pakistan', he observed.
