USA, China remain top export destinations for Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD -- The United States of America (USA) remained the top export destination for Pakistani products during the first seven months of the current financial year F20, followed by China and the United Kingdom (UK). Total exports to the USA during July-January (2019-20) were recorded at $2,440.411 million against the exports of $2,366.163 million during July-January FY19, showing an increase of 3.13 per cent, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). This was followed by China, wherein Pakistan exported goods worth $1,056.773 million during 7MFY20 against the exports of $1038.023 million in the corresponding period of last year, showing a nominal increase of 1.80pc. The UK remained third top export destination, where Pakistan exported products worth $1,004.520 million during the current financial year against the exports of $1,039.609 million during last fiscal year, showing a decrease of 3.37pc, the SBP data revealed.

Among other countries, Pakistani exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) stood at $984.881 million against $743.474 million worth exports during last year, showing an increase of 32.47pc, while the exports to Germany were recorded at $799.324 million against the exports of $ 767.483 million last year.
