The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) has felicitated Farhan Aziz Khawaja, a Grade-22 officer for his appointment as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), a statement said on Thursday.

UNISAME President Zulfikar Thaver congratulated Farhan Khawaja on his appointment and wished him best of luck and success for his tenure. Thaver said that SMEDA is fortunate to have an experienced officer, who has also served as the managing director of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) and fully acquainted with the underprivileged sector and its requirements.
