Unified Sign Language for deaf in the offing.

KARACHI -- Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar has said that DEPD had been working on Unified Sign Language for hearing impaired persons and so far they had agreed upon on 2500 words and in first phase, 4000 words would be introduced.

This he informed while visiting Deaf Reach School and College Gulistan-e-Johar Karachi, where work was going on regarding Unified Sign Language.
