KUNRI -- The Umerkot district is gearing up for the winter Rabi season, with preparations underway for the cultivation of wheat, fennel, mustard, ispaghul (psyllium), and other crops. Farmers have started the process of preparing their agricultural lands for sowing. However, they are encountering significant challenges due to the scarcity of urea fertilizer in the market and the ongoing issue of black marketing.

The shortage of urea fertilizer is causing difficulties for the winter crops, including wheat, fennel, ispaghul, and mustard.
