UFC Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather set to clash in rematch.

KARACHI -- Five years after their first fight in the ring, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are reportedly "very close" to agreeing to a thrilling sequel.

In 2017, Mayweather knocked out McGregor in the tenth round to bring his professional boxing record to 50-0.

The Sun claims that the two are currently discussing another lucrative bout. The two competitors have already agreed on personal terms, but they have not yet agreed on the number of rounds, with former UFC champion McGregor requesting 10.

The fight is set to be at 155lbs which would require McGregor to lose a significant amount of weight.

The Irish fighter has put on weight, reaching an estimated 190 pounds, since he was able to walk again after breaking his leg in the loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July of last year.

According to reports, Mayweather has offered McGregor $157.9 million for the rematch and is ready to risk his perfect professional record.
