U.S. and Pakistan Give the English Classroom a 21st Century Update.

KARACHI -- The U.S. Consulate in Karachi welcomed English language professionals and university students to the English Language Expo 2020, focusing on 'Digital Innovations in English Language Teaching and Learning' held at Greenwich University. The event promotes 21st Century educational tools and techniques, emphasizes the importance of digitalization in teaching, and provides networking opportunities for English language teachers. U.S. Embassy Regional English Language Officer Jerrold Frank opened the event, saying 'U.S. English Language Programs are so much more than simply helping Pakistanis improve their English language skills. Our programs build capacity, create opportunity, and connect Pakistanis to a wider global community.
