Two terrorists killed, three soldiers embrace martyrdom in NW operation.

ISLAMABAD -- The security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, Pakistan Army's media wing said on Thursday.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate said that the security forces conducted two separate operations on terrorists' hideouts in North Waziristan. "Two terrorists including an IED expert [was] killed in IBOs," said the ISPR. It, however, added that during exchange of fire, three Pak Army soldiers also embraced Shahadat. Those embraced martyrdom include Sepoy Azaib Ahmed, resident of Karak; Sepoy Zia Ul Islam, resident of Bannu; and Lance Naik Abbass Khan, resident of Distt Orakzai.

Meanwhile, a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in unprovoked Indian army firing along the Line of Control, media wing of the military said on Thursday.
