Two suspects held for killing youth.

GUJRAT -- Police arrested the suspects involved in the kidnap-cum-murder of a 24-year-old youth, saying 'honour' turned out to be the reason behind the incident.

Gujrat City DSP Asad Ishaq and Shaheen Chowk Station House Officer Mubashar Nawaz told the reporters at a news conference on Thursday that Muzammil Hussain of Tahlipura had lodged a complaint with the police on Feb 12 that his brother, Mudassar Hussain, had been missing.

The complainant said that Mudassar had gone to meet his father at an outhouse but never reached him.

A search was launched and a kidnap case was lodged against unidentified suspects.

On Feb 23, the DSP said, the Industrial Estate police found the body of an unidentified man from Bhimber rainwater channel and the family identified the body as that of the missing Mudassar.
