Two shopkeepers arrested in Karachi for selling overpriced hand sanitisers.

KARACHI -- As the police initiated a crackdown against shopkeepers selling hand sanitisers at inflated rates amid the coronavirus threat, they arrested two men during raids in Karachi on Sunday.

According to Clifton SP Irfan Ahmed, the police arrested a shopkeeper from Defence Housing Authority Phase VI for selling hand sanitisers at a higher rate.

Meanwhile, Boat Basin police also arrested a man for the same offence.

Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals on behalf of the state, while further investigation is underway.
