Two more Members of British Parliament condemn lockdown and continuous curfew in IoJK and L.

LONDON -- Two more Members of British Parliament MPs condemned the lockdown and continuous curfew in Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh (IoJK and L). The MPs also supported the Kashmiris right of self-determination.

Matt Rodda MP said that it is unfortunate that people of Kashmir are under continuous curfew since last 77 days saying he will continue to raise the voice for the voiceless people of IoJK and L. 'In this era of technology mobile phone and internet is need of the hour and I was shocked to learn that nine million people in IoJK and L have no cell phone and internet facility that was shut down by the Indian government on August 5 following the abrogation of special status of Kashmir from the Indian constitution,' MP Rodda added.

Dr Phillips Lee MP said that world has to listen now the Kashmiris who want right of self-determination and united Nations UN ought to implement their resolutions to settle this vexed issue once for all.

On the occasion President AJK Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan thanked the MPs for supporting Kashmir cause and once again appealed the world community to come forward and save South Asia's peace that has been put at stake by Indian government while caging the nine million innocent people in IoJK and L.

President Khan said that India is hoodwinking world on the IoJK and L situation. 'If there is a normalcy then why schools and colleges are closed saying who had shut the services of mobile phones and internet in the region. This is the biggest lie of the century spoken by India that IoJK and L is normal,' President Khan added.

President Khan urged the world community to come forward and settle IoJK and L as per the wishes of Kashmiri people for the durable peace of South Asian region.

Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Abdur Rashid Turabi said that India has arrested all leadership in IoJK and L that shows how New Delhi government's writ exists in the disputed area and how they enjoy the mass support in the streets of occupied area.

'Kashmiris are fighting as per the UN resolutions and world community should take the notice of human rights abuses and come with a final will for the permanent settlement of Kashmir dispute,' Turabi added.
