Two men shot at, wounded by robbers.

KARACHI -- Two men were shot at and wounded by suspected robbers over resistance on University Road near the Mosamiyat roundabout in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Wednesday, police said.

They added that Sajjad Khan, 21, and Mobin, 40, drew cash from an ATM of a private bank and were on their way riding a motorbike. The robbers on another motorcycle intercepted them and snatched the cash and other valuables from them on the main road near an online taxi service terminus in Block-4 of Gulistan-i-Jauhar.

As they put up resistance, the robbers opened fire on them and fled with the loot.

They were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where their condition was critical, said a hospital official.
