Two dead, at least 14 injured in explosion targeting FC vehicle near Quetta's McConaghey Road.

QUETTA -- Two people were killed and 14 were injured in a blast near McConaghey Road in Quetta Tuesday.

Initial findings suggested that explosive material was installed on a bike, which was detonated in the proximity of an FC vehicle.

Nearby shops were damaged and a motorcycle parked nearby caught fire in the explosion.

The area was cordoned off and investigation teams took over the site.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal condemned the incident, saying that miscreants were trying to ruin the peace established in the city and the province.

He said authorities will ensure peace at any cost in the province.

Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove condemned the blast. He said miscreants were trying to disturb the peaceful environment in the province.
