MURREE -- Transporters have continued to collect self-imposed high fares from passengers despite various operations against them by the district administration, Regional Transport Authority (RTA) secretary and deputy superintendent of police traffic.
The Rawalpindi commissioner and deputy commissioner took notice of the collection of fares that were double that fixed by the government from Faizanabad to Murree city and suburbs such as Upper Dewal, Alliott, New Murree and Bariyan.
