Traffic warden, wife test positive.

RAWALPINDI -- After a traffic warden and his wife tested positive for Covid-19, samples of the entire staff of Mehrabad traffic post and some officials of the City Traffic Office were sent for test but their results are awaited.

Faisal Mehmood was performing duty at the Mehrabad traffic post when he complained of flu and cough. After his test came positive, he was shifted to hospital along with his wife who also tested positive for coronavirus.

Mr Mehmood had been on the VIP duty on April 14 during the Punjab chief minister's visit to Rawalpindi, a spokesman for the traffic police said, adding the traffic staff had been provided gloves and masks by the police department.
