Torrential rain inundates several Gojra areas.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- Houses, shops, municipal committee (MC) offices, residences of MC officers and employees, government buildings, educational institutions, mosques in Gojra were inundated after the town received its heaviest rainfall since 1988 on Friday.

The railway underpass also looked like a canal, while hundreds of graves in the district's biggest Kabootran Wala graveyard were damaged.

Announcements were made from loudspeakers in mosques urging citizens to visit the graveyard to examine the damaged graves of their relatives.
