Tiger Force launched in Khyber, Dir.

LANDI KOTAL -- The Prime Minister's Volunteer Tiger Force (VTF) has been launched in various districts.

In this respect, Khyber deputy commissioner Mehmud Aslam Wazir administered the oath to over 70 volunteers at the Khyber House on Saturday.

He said so far a total of 43,062 local people had registered themselves with the force.

He said the volunteers would help the administration in provision of health facilities to the coronavirus-affected people alongside distribution of food and other necessary items among the poor.

In Upper Dir, the Tiger Force was launched at function held at the District Council, where deputy commissioner Khalid Iqbal Khattak, MNA Sahibzada Sibghatullah, district police officer Mian Nasib Jan, local elders, PTI district president Yamin Khan and others were also present.

The DC said there were total 2,894 volunteers having been registered with the force.
