Three die, many test corona positive in districts.

SHEIKHUPURA -- Many people were tested positive for coronavirus in various parts of Punjab on Wednesday.

Sharaqpur THQ Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Qaisar and seven other employees, including three sanitary workers, were tested positive.

All of them were isolated in the hospital under strict surveillance.

Meanwhile, a woman who was admitted to the DHQ Hospital for the last several days died of coronavirus.

GUJRAT: The death of another two persons due to Covid-19 has taken the total number of deaths with this viral infection to six in the district.

Amir Shahzad, a resident of Shah Faisal gate of Gujrat city, expired at the Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital where he had been on ventilator for the last couple of days.

The local authorities and hospital administration said he had been admitted to the ABSTH on May 13 and he was a kidney patient.
