ISLAMABAD -- During the hearing of a case pertaining to recovery of one Asma Majeed, a girl abducted from Dera Ghazi Khan in 2015, , the counsel for parents of the girl has expressed dissatisfaction over the court's proceedings pleading that if the court is describing writing of a letter as the performance of the police then it is regrettable.

He further argued 'police have written to some departments after one year of the hearing of the case and the respective departments have given no reply to police.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Umar Ata Bandial took up the case for hearing Friday.
