Thai Ambassador Advocates Resolution of LC and Foreign Currency Repatriation Issues to Attract Foreign Investors.

KARACHI -- Ambassador of Thailand, Chakkrid Krachaiwong, acknowledged that challenges related to Letter of Credit (LC) and repatriating foreign currency from Pakistan affect not only Thai businesspeople but foreign businesses in general. He emphasized that resolving these issues could create a more business-friendly environment, attracting foreign investors. Krachaiwong spoke during a meeting at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) while visiting with a Thai delegation.

Krachaiwong revealed that the Thai government prioritizes enhanced economic cooperation with Pakistan. He also highlighted the importance of reaching a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and called on the Pakistani government to propose a date for the next round of negotiations.
