Terrorism has affected economy and prosperity of country: Hammad Azhar.

ISLAMABAD -- Minister for Economic Affairs Barrister Muhammad Hammad Azhar says young people can play a key role in stabilizing economy by contributing to peace and stability in the country. He said that terrorism has affected the economy and prosperity of the country. He said that if the journey of peace will continue in Pakistan then no one could stop the way of Pakistan's progress. Hammad Azhar said that promoting peace is need of the hour.

While addressing the two-day conference organized by Islamic Research Institute (IRI) of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) under the 'Nojuwanan-e-Pakistan' initiative of Paigham-e-Pakistan on 'Quaid's Vision of Pakistan', on Friday, Hammad Azhar said that in Pakistan no attention was given to the youth, due to which a lot of blood was shed in country however we are paying attention, adding that the youth will make Pakistan as developed country of the world.

He said that the restoration of peace following the principles of Quaid-e-Azam is need of the hour for country's development. The Minister said peace is vital for revamping economy. Hammad Azhar said that the youth while playing important role in peace and stability of the county will also play an important role in strengthening the economy of the country.
