TARIQ Road, a once serene locality, remains congested during most hours of the day as it has become a busy commercial hub. This makes it difficult for traffic using this thoroughfare to pass with ease. To add to the chaos are the double - and even - triple parked vehicles leaving a narrow single lane for passing vehicles. The stopping of rickshaws, to pick and drop passengers, further adds to the congestion.

The problem becomes even more acute during evening hours...
