TARAQEE Foundation, WFP distribute financial assistance to people of Lasbela.

LASBELA -- The World Food Program (WFP) has launched a program to provide relief to 4,741 affected families of District Lasbela, Balochistan through 'unconditional relief assistance'. For this initiative, the WFP has partnered with the TARAQEE Foundation which is actively helping marginalized segments in Balochistan region. In this regard, financial assistance was distributed at the DC office in Uthal, Balochistan. A delegation of media persons from Karachi visited Uthal to participate in the TARAQEE Foundation's initiative of cash distribution among daily wagers and food insecure people of 6 union councils of Lasbela. Renowned environmentalist and social activist Faiz Kakar, PFUJ senior leader Shazada Zulfiqar, Taraqee Foundation Project Manager Essa Saleem, Sardar Qurban Gharsheen and other prominent people from Quetta were also present on the occasion.
