SZABUL lowers fee for online classes.

KARACHI -- ShaheedZulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law (SZABUL) has successfully completed the first phase of online classes and is ready to hold 'blended' classes from July 15th wherein hi-tech equipment and modern technology would be fully exploited. This was stated in a meeting of SZABUL faculty with Dean Faculty of Law Prof DrRukhsar Ahmed in the chair. The dean told the meeting that in line with the pedagogic approach of Vice Chancellor Justice DrRana Muhammad Shamim, all the SZABUL teachers underwent a five-week training course on how to hold online classes. This training, he said, was arranged jointly by the University of Leeds and the University College of London. Chairman, Department of Law DrOwaisHasan Shaikh told the meeting that during the Summer Semester commencing from June 2020 a total of 31 courses were being taught entirely online wherein one-third of the total students actively participated. He said the method adopted and standard operating procedure (SOP) devised for online classes was in full conformity with the guideline provided by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
