Survey to assess losses of Bajaur growers.

KHAR -- The authorities started a survey to assess damage caused to wheat crop, vegetables and fruit orchards by the recent rains and hailstorm in Bajaur tribal district.

Officials said that the survey was approved in a meeting of held with Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Fayyaz Khan in the chair to discuss the damage caused to wheat crop, vegetables and fruit orchards by the recent hailstorm.

The senior officials of administration and agriculture department attended the meeting. The meeting was informed that several cattle were also killed and a number of vehicles were damaged in Khar, Salarzai, Nawagai, Charmakand and Mamond areas by the hailstorm.

The meeting decided to constitute two survey teams. One team will be led by Khar assistant commissioner Fazal Raheem and the second will be headed by Nawagai assistant commissioner Habibulah Khan Wazir.
