Supreme Court to hear contempt plea against Sheikh Rashid on Dec 15.

ISLAMABAD -- The Supreme Court on Saturday fixed the contempt plea against Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid for hearing on December 15.

A three-member bench of the apex court led by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed will hear the application.

Rashid had been accused of forcefully acquiring the land, which was in the use of Girls Guide, and including it in the hospital. The court had restrained Rashid from obtaining the land from them.

The application was filed by Girls Guide chairperson.

In 2018, the apex court had ordered the construction of the wall on the land of Girls Guide that had been demolished.
