SUP assails CM's 'moves to rig LG polls'.

HYDERABAD -- Sindh United Party president Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah has said that Sindh chief minister's meetings with district returning officers and returning officers in Jamshoro amid preparations for local bodies election indicates planning for pre-poll rigging.

Shah urged in a statement issued here on Monday the country's establishment to take notice of the chief minister's activities and provincial government's interference in local bodies election.

He said that transparent election in Jamshoro seemed impossible thanks to a weak election commission. The chief minister used government machinery to hold meetings with party leaders in Sehwan to finalise candidates' names, he said.
