Sugar export.

IF the government policy provides for subsidy on export of sugar, then we have no issue with the subsidy given to various exporters.

Let us also leave aside the allegations that export was allowed despite a shortage in the country and, more importantly, against written advice.

My question is: is the subsidy released only after an exporter provides verifiable evidence of export, including the names of the importing country and the importer, and receipt/deposit of foreign exchange from the export at the subsidised price?

This should be readily confirmed by the receiving bank deposit in the bank of the exporter. Hopefully this will be covered in the forensic report, which is due...
